I’m sorry to see any print publication go down because of its parent company’s online idiocy. Computer Games Magazine<\/em> and Massive <\/em>are being shuttered because its parent company, TheGlobe, got hit with a lawsuit for spamming MySpace<\/a>. It’s got to be a horrible feeling to have created a publication only to have it wiped away by something stupid and slimy that you had nothing to do with. Troy Goodfellow says it better<\/a> than I could, and with relevant links.<\/p>\n

It’s the equivalent of a drive-by — the tragic death of someone caught in the crosshairs of a senseless attack that didn’t have to happen.<\/p>\n
