I chatted with Stephen Pierce over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/us\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">GamesRadar<\/a> about the idea one day and he and the GR staff ran with it.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m doing one of the chapters in the Week of Hate, but alas, not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/us\/ds\/game\/news\/article.jsp?sectionId=1006&amp;articleId=20070507112447600036&amp;releaseId=20060308162345714070\" target=\"_blank\">the main essay<\/a>, which is the one I was fired up about and the article I kinda pitched in the first place. No hate, though; I waffled back and forth as to whether I was going to do the story in <em>OXM <\/em>or not, so ya snooze, ya lose. I&#8217;m just glad to see I&#8217;m not alone in thinking there&#8217;s something unusual &#8212; or even, wrong &#8212; with the sheer amount of nastiness that gamers spew at the very thing they claim to love.<\/p>\n<p>Update: <a href=\"http:\/\/gamesradar.com\/us\/xbox360\/game\/news\/article.jsp?sectionId=1006&amp;articleId=200705081246133054&amp;releaseId=20060321132945404017\" target=\"_blank\">My chapter is up<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 To be honest, I didn&#8217;t really expect to find what I think I found. But I think my suggestions are certainly plausible.
