Now nobody will ask which controller is mine:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/vhgamepad.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Even though I have the console faceplate on a black Elite, I put it the controller faceplate on a white gamepad because I have more of them, and the black one is working well; I don&#8217;t want to mess with it. I learned how to disassemble and reassemble a 360 controller for an <em>OXM <\/em>article earlier in the year, and other than accepting that you void your warranty by doing so, it&#8217;s almost no trouble to do.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/vh360set.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Good things come in threes, so I hope to show off the final piece of this collection before the end of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been thrilled with the Van Halen striped faceplate that Greg made me, so I asked him to whip up a companion for it.
