Spam hurts everyone (some more than others)

I’m sorry to see any print publication go down because of its parent company’s online idiocy. Computer Games Magazine and Massive are being shuttered because its parent company, TheGlobe, got hit with a lawsuit for spamming MySpace. It’s got to be a horrible feeling to have created a publication only to have it wiped away by something stupid and slimy that you had nothing to do with. It’s the equivalent of a drive-by — the tragic death of someone caught in the crosshairs of a senseless attack that didn’t have to happen.
